That weather today is unreal. I should have stayed in Calgary and pulled the bikes out for a ride instead of going to Nakiska which has marginal conditions at best. What a terrible season for the hills so far.

I'm in Whitefish. They have tons of snow, but I think they either got rain or got freezing rain with a snowfall. Everywhere is covered in 4 inches of hard packed ice.

We were supposed to get snow, then they changed the forecast to "a few flurries". So now we get snow.

Like I said before 30% chance of snow forecast for Calgary = 100% snow at a minimum of 2 inches. It's tapered off now but we should get another 2 inches tomorrow. Pretty dry January so far though.

For the "big" dump we got in Calgary, the system didn't touch the mountains. Basically no snow from this hit the ski hills...rip

I was in Fernie this week watching the potential storm Saturday get downgraded on a daily basis. Went from a double digit forecast to a few cm. Actual snowfall? 0cm, ugh. Thankfully I came home yesterday instead of staying the night for the possible powder day.
