You're maybe the seventh person to say this. I agree, that's of utmost importance. But public perceptions are also important, particularly to other players trying to break into the lineup (or the organization).

Very impressive game by the Flames today. That was a different level of urgency that we certainly did not see against the Avalanche or the Predators. The Lightning probably weren’t at their best, but the Flames definitely did not let up at any point whether down or up and they didn’t give their dangerous PP much either, so kudos to the PK.

Really liked what I saw from the 4th line today. Minute for minute, they might have been in the best line for the team today and that’s saying a lot because every line came to play today.

Thought Pelletier had a great showing for his first NHL game, not a lot of TOI, but showed off legit skills and has a big motor. His game is very polished for young kid with little pro experience.

Walker Duehr continues to impress me though. I don’t think this guy needs another AHL game, he’s ready to be a full time NHLer. He makes the 4th line tick right now and the speed he brings really stands out in comparison to the rest of this team.

I honestly dont think he's been this bad in the past - especially with young players and constantly crapping on the roster.

I feel like he used to go at the vets and leaders a lot more, not the young guys.
