If he plays three years in the AHL for the Flames he might make 300k by summer 2026
If he plays two more years of college, finishes his degree, and then plays one year in the NHL for a sensible organization on an ELC he will be a millionaire by summer 2026

Coronato may or may not sign, but it’s not exactly like he has Fox-like leverage. He’s doing well, but not head and shoulders above other players in the league.

In order to capitalize on getting off my ELC early i need to play and thats not happening with this coach
Id say "im not signing so trade me or lose me for nothing" and try to force my hand
