I don't think anyone honestly sees Lucic as a good fit in the top six.

But that change created two new effective lines in their play, and a third line with Lucic that was productive despite a lack of underlying numbers. And the team started picking up points.

But the Lindholm line has been caved in in four of their last six games, and I mean caved in.

So now the Lucic pinning isn't necessary as they may need to get a new look for the top line as well.

I don't see these lines together much longer.

Hopefully Pelletier has an energetic, relatively mistake free spin on the fourth line for 8 minutes tonight, and gets more games.

He hasn't shown he can integrate players from outside rosters into this one.

I think ultimately Sutter has decided the players he has can't replicate the success of the top line last season, so we've ended up with this high volume, low success, risk free hockey that frankly hasn't been very fun to watch.

Tofolli, Kadri, Weegar, Zadorov and Gudbranson all integrated well.

The Bolts are gonna be pissed after crapping the bed against the Oil. This game has embarrassing loss written all over it. Prove me wrong, Flames.

Toffoli played for him and he had Gudbranson on his list of players.

Zadorov took time.

Weegar still hasn't fully fit in yet.

I think this is a good point, but not for what you are arguing. And Toffoli has taken time here as well.

Confirmed starter yet? I hope Vladar but I have a feeling it's Markstrom.

The big issue with this group is overvaluing how good some of these players are. Sure we all want to see some of the young guys but we can't expect them to come in and make a huge impact. Especially this group of prospects. This team should be better than what they are showing but how much better are they. I sure don't believe they are a cup contender. There is a lack of talent on this team. Pure skill, able to carry and transition the puck skill. A lack of speed and high end talent and this is a foundation flaw, drafting and developing issue.

Never know, Pelletier may play and get 7-8 minutes.

Tampa can score in bunches. Hopefully the forward group has a good game, 1 or 2 goals more than likely won't cut it today. Need the Lindholm line to step up.

No not really.

A good coach would have his team playing a style that plays to their strengths not forcing his style on them when it clearly doesn't work.

It would be like Andy Reid taking the roster he has and running the ball 45 tomes a game a running screen passes. Good coaches adapt to the talent they have.
