Markstrom is just “there”. He’s not really doing anything, but he’s certainly playing…like most of the rest of his team.

He’d was actually over and saw where it was going. He just didn’t save it. I agree, that one, as weird a bounce as it was, wasn’t a good goal.

Didn't you know, when the puck is in the net, it's always Markstrom's fault. What I don't understand is why Anderson on PP1 or PP at all?

A big part of the hate is the other Flames goalie hasn't lost in regulation in his last 10 starts, against harder competition, but the coach refuses to play him because he has an over the top sense of "vets have earned it".

Pelletier is probably happy he's not playing, as a single bad play will get him benched and sent down.

I think the Flames system/structure really stymies players from making ‘elite’ individual plays. Kadri and Dube are the only guys who don’t immediately shoot or dump it in from inside the blueline.
That, and if Vladar was starting more of the games I think the whole teams confidence would be higher and maybe make more of those ‘élite’ individual plays.

1. He’s no better worse than anyone. He sucks as bad a Hubradeau.
2. Yet he also has not stepped up like anyone else.
3. It’s laughable this team is making the playoffs, yet win a round like this?

Its not fair but that means the Dallas series wasn’t his win either
