Seems like the playoff races are in full swing. A win tonight would go a long way to helping the Flames or dropping them right into the pack chasing them.

Pretty much every game go forward will be like this.

We keep waiting for this team to take a step forward and grow out of some the critical issues that have plagued them for the first half of the season.

Unfortunately, during that time they have been extremely predictable in the result, often a victim to the cliche excuses available to them.

As such , I’m fully expecting a non-60 min effort, where they are close but just can’t get that elusive ‘next goal’. Though, it is the first game home after a lengthy road trip….

Hope I am wrong, perhaps tonight is the start of the flames finding actual consistency and WINNING.

Go flames!

Your post reads like they've gone 8-9-3 over their last 20 games.

While I don't have much hope for a W, the other part of me can't help but think about how "Calgary Flames" it would be to beat Colorado tonight and Tampa on Saturday, and then lose to Columbus on Monday.

Yes, they have been picking up points in most of their games lately. Good observation.

Go Flames!

Play Pelletier or send him back down.
#### or get off the pot.

Wasting the kids confidence and skills.

I'd love to watch him play, but I do think that traveling and practicing with a NHL team is valuable experience for a first timer.

What the #### are you going on about? The kid himself said that he feels great gratitude to be around the team and see what it's like in the NHL, I'd say that anyone who gets called up, gets a confidence boost. He gets to skate and practice with Flames with great coaching staff, gets paid big paper and gets to know the players. I recommend reading the following article if you want to know how he feels.

Ngl I’m worried about this one. Hopefully they can get a W or at least a point

I’m gonna watch because I enjoy watching fast skilled teams like Colorado. I suspect they are gonna kick our ass tonight
