Avs would be far ahead of the Flames if not for their recent slide. However, 2 consecutive blowout wins would suggest they're back on track.

Oilers 4 in a row, Wild 3 in a row, Avs 2 in a row, Preds 2 in a row.

So yes, there has been a pile up of points by these teams in recent nights. Flames need to get back to winning to avoid losing ground.

If you sense the vitriol in my comment, it's because it's deserved. Hell is not real, magical places do not exist as much as the religious loonies would like to believe, but the state we're in has a lot to do with the ignorance and hate found in your favorite book.

Gay people have been murdered just for who they are and are continually treated reprehensibly, the Flyers did a small thing to show support. Maybe a young LGBTQ person noticed and will be just a bit more accepted and comfortable going to a game, is it so hard to show compassion and support by a gesture as small as wearing a jersey for 30 mins during a warm up?
