When Saros is good, he is mighty good. Weren't going to get another by him. Move on to the Avs. They will have to play a heck of a lot better on Wednesday.

Markstrom was good. Saros was better. Like Big Z said, didn't play like they were hungry for a goal until the 3rd. Like most of the season, couldn't score the goal they needed. Hopefully Sutter starts playing Pelletier.

Yeah hopefully Huberdeau responds positively after being benched last minute. Totally agree with Sutter there. Markstrom was good but so was Saros. Hope Dustin Wolf is taking notes on how he plays.

While Markstrom played well it does not go unnoticed that, yet again, he was the second best goalie in the game.

Maybe we will finally see Lucic off the second line?

Vegas and Seattle both lost tonight. Would have been nice to have picked up 2 points but I guess that’s too much to ask for.

Have to find a way to score more than one goal too.
Toffoli had a great chance with the goalie pulled, have to think sooner or later those types of chances are going to go in.

Really need to get Dube off the top line and Lucic off the second. I don't care how they do it, just make it work.
Ruzicka was good on the top line, but has been very disinterested. Doesn't deserve to go back but he'd be better than Dube.
Pelletier or Phillips on the second line please. It can't be any worse.

Toffoli has more than scored his share this season
just had a great one in Dallas
other guys need to step up and bear down on their chances the way TT has

Stuff like that just feels like putting blame on the guy for no good reason at all when it's not warranted. He was the best Flame tonight.
Both goalies were very good.

I agree, not only has he been invisible but he hasn't even been the best player on his line.
But I also think part of the issue is Sutter's insistence on using Huberdeau's line as a cycle line, when Huberdeau's success game playing with Duclair and Bennett on an uptempo line. Lucic is playing well for the role, but the role itself is wrong. Kadri and Huberdeau deserve at least one opportunity to play with someone like Phillips or Pellettier who is going to win races up the ice rather than wall battles in the corners.

Hoping to see him take a breather in the press box.

Not really mad at all, team played like balls in the first but I enjoyed the third. Too bad they couldn't score one, not going to sweat over it. Markstrom played great, and got a couple home games coming up, hope they can win the next three.

Haven’t been able to watch much this season but is Huberdeau like this every game? I expected him to be a game changing forward that’s brings some entertainment. That contract is going to be disastrous cause he won’t ever be a 115 point player as a Flame.

For sure. I said it in the GT too, but man Eat Bread was really invisible to me. I seriously forgot he was playing.
They need all their top offensive guys to step it up in the 2nd half of the season.
