Here's the thing, in order to try and get back into this game we need Markstrom to shut things down the rest of the way. Based on his games so far, he doesn't seem to have that ability this season. That's why everyone is on his case every time we're trailing, especially if his sv% is below .900 in the game.

History says Preds start hot and Flames in the end win, so I still think Flames make a come back.

Preds are playing desperate and the Flames failed to show up so far. Not really sure it’s on Markstrom.

The error was sliding off his post against the play. Markstrom makes average saves look hard with his terrible play.

The guy bobbles or plain misses simple shots glove side, is it any wonder the team has no confidence in front of him.

God, I wish I could share your optimism, but I don’t see it.

Right. My point is it’s a team game. Markstrom needs to lock it down so the team can gain confidence back in him. Anyone who has played sports at any competitive level knows that the team goes as the rest of the team does. Especially the goalie. Vladar wins games even if he doesn’t look great at times. Keep playing him as you have the best chance to win.

I don't think they're fragile. I think they just lack a sense of urgency.. and they seem to lack the drive to win. I said it before, sometimes I wonder if players come here to retire, or to coast.

I’m thinking anyone blaming Markstrom isn’t actually watching
They are just checking the score on their TSN app and pasting one of their comments from their well crafted list of 5
If it wasn’t for Markstrom, the game is 5-0 right now

Hope the Flames win so I don't have to read any of your dribble until they start losing again.

I get the team was underwhelming, but can Markstrom be anywhere close to a 6 million dollar guy now and then?

painstakingly average and under a .900 clip yet again

he's a huge athletic goalie, but on that last one he just looks weak. if the leg was stopping it, don't move the leg

When was the last time Markstrom locked things down? Not sure it has happened this season.
