My only beef is not enough high draft picks.

BT did an incredible job replacing fan favourite super stars last year.

Would have liked that old core to hang a banner in the Dome.

Nothing to complain about really, now that the #### coaches are gone.

Which reminds me, one of my biggest issues with the Flames is that they repeat the same mistakes over again. They don't learn from their past.

Too many men penalties. Not sure how they get so many. I’ve played hockey for decades and I bet the Flames have got more of there this season than I’ve seen on all of the teams I’ve played on combined.

^^Those too many men penalty's I know drives Sutter Bonkers. Not sure where I read it but he had a practice once where all they did was line changes.



Crazy we have had so many this year, i wouldn't want to be on the bench when they get one that's for sure.

I dont have too many frustrations as a Flames fan. I dont like watching soft teams and we had one for nearly a decade until the last few years.



You have to commend the organization, unlike some they always try to field a competitive team and spend the the cap nearly every year. (to some that could be a frustration but high prospects and picks are never a for sure thing)


I honestly dont mind if they lose, I just want to see the effort and the 'hate' of losing. I like teams that stand up for each other, its honestly like going to war on a much less significant scale.



If there was one frustration I have it would be asset management of former star players. I'm sure a lot of fans have this same frustration. I cant talk about the 80's as it was before my time but there is plenty of examples in the organizations history of terrible asset management. (Still think Mullen for a 2nd quite possibly is the worst trade in flames history, but its got competition for sure). That year Burke held onto Cammalleri when we were not making the playoffs and he was not going to re-sign was baffling also.

That’s probably my biggest frustration right now. Losing Gaudreau and Tkachuk basically eliminated any “wow” moments from the game. We’re doing ok, and we’re doing it as a team, but even the wins aren’t that exciting because we don’t really have any exciting players.

I’d love a player like Bedard, who wouldn’t? I want to watch a player who is on another level offensively again.

I'll take "Boring Hockey" and a Cup over "Exciting Hockey" and a 1st round exit.

I love Huberdeau and think he'll have a great tenure here, but how much longer can we expect him to be a 91 overall in EA NHL? His point pace isn't TOO bad right now but far from the 115 points of yester season.

My crippling fear is that the boneheaded devs out in Vancouver will see this stat line and inevitably dunk his overall down in to the 80's somewhere with a coming roster update, which would really put a damper on this trade and the entire state of affairs, really.

On patience, Flames fans are overly patient with the organization but really short-tempered with the players. It's okay for the team to never really be good, but somehow every player on the team is still expected to deliver top tier results for his position.



On a mildly related note, I still think Treliving should have already been fired ages ago.
