The net was off.
So this sets the precedent that if the ref thinks the goalie put the net off on propose, it can still be a goal.
Good to know.

And the goalie knocked it off himself. Thats a good goal.

Didn't Vladar knock that in himself?

This rule has been around for a little while, seen similar goals like that one a few times this year.

Because Vladar knocked the net off himself and had he not the puck would have still went in.

Even if he did, is it written in the rule book somewhere that if the goalie does it intentionally, they continue to play?

Vladar pushed the net out of place.

It’s not a precedent. The factor is (a) a Flame dislodging it on purpose or not and (b) would the puck have gone in anyway.

If the ref thought Vladar did it on purpose it s a delay of game penalty.

I am pretty sure that has been the case for a while. Not the first time this year it has happened either.

Vladar knocked the net off.

If that was the other end of the ice and we had a goal disallowed, this place would’ve lost it.

That's such a strange call. I get that Vladar knocked the net off himself, but goalies often push off the post. In fact, I could argue that he had a chance to make a save had the post not come out.

Anyways, there's no chance the Flames would ever benefit from such a call.

The Flames have been absolute hot garbage on defensive zone faceoffs today and if the Stars hadnt phoned this game in today it could really have bitten them in the ass.

63.6 Awarded Goal - In the event that the goal post is displaced, either deliberately or accidentally, by a defending player, prior to the puck crossing the goal line between the normal position of the goalposts, the Referee may award a goal.
