It shouldnt pain you to say it, you're absolutely right.

I want nothing more than for Markstrom to find his game again, but this is a results based league and the Flames are in tough and need points. Its not a development league for players to work through their issues, thats what practice is for.

But if you have no confidence in your goalie your defence dont take risks and they panic and it becomes a fire drill in your own zone.

Then the breakouts are bad, the puck support from behind is lacking and the dominos just start falling.

That was theoretically the first unit with Lucic and Zadorov out there instead of Lindholm and Toffoli.

Even if off Rasmus’ stick it was because Benn hit the stick. It’s not like Rasmus shot it or deflected on his own. I guess he needed to be stronger on the stick.

If that was a Stars player with a spot of blood it's 4 minutes but because it's a Flames it doesn't count.

Different rules for different teams.
