I'm at fault here I started this whole thing by saying "over the last month" and then used stats from December 1.

Time is flying guys, I swear new years was a few days ago lol.

All this being said people seem extra pissed right now yet the Flames are .600 since December 1 and .650 in their last 10. Certainly an improvement and a playoff pace.

Avs just lost to Chicago without Kane in regulation

Preds lost to Montreal in regulation tonight

good night for the Flames I guess. Maybe the Flames will beat all the non-playoff teams and the teams they are competing with will lose to them. That would be nice.

The doom and gloom here is sickening.

No, Moneypuck's predictions aren't perfect, but the Flames play hockey the right way.

Nor for the Jets. They truly have a strange way of calculating their futures odds.

Leafs and Flames have a better chance of making the second round than the Lightning and the Avalanche. Sure there are a lot of gamblers willing to try to find that bookie who gives those odds.

I wonder what the date on this was. Before their last hot streak the Jets lost 4 of 5. But since then they've won 6 of 7.

This shows both Seattle and Winnipeg above Calgary:

But this is a funny power ranking

Well a lot will depend on who they play...Avs might have a tough matchup, if they make it

Aha!

I suppose that reflects some sort of "built for the POs" thinking

I saw us with a 0.1% of winning the draft lottery and that being non-zero gave me more hope than the 10% chance of winning the cup

There's only one coach who won the Jack Adams last year, perhaps he hasn't completely lost his marbles...
