I'm at fault here I started this whole thing by saying "over the last month" and then used stats from December 1.
Time is flying guys, I swear new years was a few days ago lol.
All this being said people seem extra pissed right now yet the Flames are .600 since December 1 and .650 in their last 10. Certainly an improvement and a playoff pace.
Every team they are competing with, with the exceptions of the Wild and the Preds have an easy schedule down the stretch. The team with the easiest schedule is the Avs. Presumably they beat all the ####ty teams too and play at a .600 clip.
Avs just lost to Chicago without Kane in regulation
Preds lost to Montreal in regulation tonight

good night for the Flames I guess. Maybe the Flames will beat all the non-playoff teams and the teams they are competing with will lose to them. That would be nice.
No, Moneypuck's predictions aren't perfect, but the Flames play hockey the right way.
Leafs and Flames have a better chance of making the second round than the Lightning and the Avalanche. Sure there are a lot of gamblers willing to try to find that bookie who gives those odds.

Well a lot will depend on who they play...Avs might have a tough matchup, if they make it
