I'm in a similar situation when it comes to scotch.
I keep being given scotch.
I don't drink it.

The Human Fund will drink it. Donate it to a good cause.

Drinking is bad for you?? No way! Why has this never been brought to anyone's attention? You'd think this would be bigger news!!

Post a big huge list in the Buy and Sell. I'm sure people would by them. (Not sure if selling alcohol is against the forum rules...)
Otherwise, create baskets and donate to sporting organizations, or give them to friends/family with kids who play sports.
Liquor baskets are always a popular fundraising item for auctions/raffles.

I've been a non-drinker since about 2015. I was kinda in the same boat, and had about 15 bottles of booze. I just brought it all to work in a plastic tote and it lasted all of about 20 minutes, opened bottles and all.
People certainly weren't picky.

A friend of mines mother used to work for the ALCB and had a basement full of alcohol. She made an open invitation to family and their friends to come pick what they wanted. It was like watching a pack of hyenas feeding on a wildebeest.

If you were considering donating it you could maybe ask the Legion? I'm sure any private club would take it of your hands, Golf Club, Curling Club, Knights of Columbus etc...
Also Booze Basket raffles have become popular, do you know or are you involved with any organizations that could use a liquor donation to run a raffle?

On a side note, even opened bottles are perhaps desirable. Some people love collecting the bottles or using them as display pieces.

Convert it to urine, then flush down toilet.

Can you sell them on FB marketplace or Craigslist etc?
Or is liquor resale not allowed?

Not allowed on Facebook nor Kijiji. Also not allowed to sell here.
Interestingly enough you don't need a liquor license to raffle off liquor in Alberta, but you do need a raffle license (which you can only get if you're a charity afaik).

I appreciate all the suggestions!
My two favorites are giving them to local charities that can use them at raffles, and local legions that could use some good scotch. The opened ones I'll pour down the drain, get the bottle depot deposits, and get some chicken on the way.

If you have a septic system, don't do it.
If you are on municipal sanitary, it's not ideal, but generally safe. Just don't do a large quantity all at once and try to dilute it well.
