The schedule maker was very kind to the duher family.

I like it when things like that happen

I'm tired of hearing about him in general. Time to move on.

Time to run with Vladar money shouldn't dictate who starts

Have to think Vladar gets the start next game. Solid game by him, making the saves when he needed to. No real chance on the one goal in the game. Thought the Flames played a solid 3rd, which was nice to see that they did not cave after that lucky bounce on the Blues goal.

Fun game overall.

Nice subtle assist by Lindholm on Dube's winner, and a fantastic shift by Backs and Mangi to create the Coleman turnover and goal.

Huge Flames win tonight and who does Sportsnet have on right now? McDavid. #### off Sportsnet. Can we have a break from the McDavid and Oiler fellating for just one night!!

I really liked Duehr's game today. He looks like a pretty good fit with the fourth line.

Let's not pretend this is some unprecedented thing though. Most teams are going to try to get their #1 goalie (who finished 2nd (3rd?) in Vezina voting) on track instead of just throwing him out the door and relying on a younger guy without much experience.
Vladar definitely deserves an extended look as the starter, but we're going to need Markstrom to find some kind of consistency if we're going to find playoff success.

we laugh at Edmonton's goalie situation but also I wish we would emulate it

the oilers would not be well off right now if they gave Campbell a markstrom workload just cause they paid him starter money

we've been playing at a disadvantage of sub .900 goaltending and still managing to stay ahead of them, which says a lot

with nhl average numbers the Flames leave the Oilers behind

Duehr seems like a fit for our 4th line

I prefer him to zohorna, and I liked zohorna

then again I am a sucker for speed

Duehr had 10 goals last season, then 5 goals in 13 playoff games.

Ruzicka and Walker are such better bottom six guys then all these random vets the team has been signing for years. If only they can find a way to get a couple of more skilled prospects into the lineup.

Why do we need Markstrom if Vladar can do the job?

I would bet on Vladar over Markstrom for playoffs success right now. Yes, Vladar is raw but I have no confidence in Markstrom finding his game when it matters
