Vladar made some great saves when it was scoreless that could have really changed the game had he not. That's what this team needs, timely saves.

Run with the hot goalie for a bit, team needs to get some momentum.

6-0-2.

Here’s an idea. Vladar, you’re the new starter.

Not sure why people feel the need to just make stuff up about Markstrom to get their shots in.

Did you watch the Dallas series?

It’s cool seeing The Mayor get his first.

Vladar is a beauty.

I wouldn't say he was "amazing" against Dallas. The Flames absolutely dominating Dallas with a stranglehold, and even the Reto Berra types would have posted good numbers in that situation.

That was a well deserved win. Cannot let games like that slip away. They got the lead and suffocated the Blues. More of that please.

Difference between this game and last game was the goalie. Flames played very similar last game until the soft goals against spooked them.

Oh and of course Vladar was extremely steady in the net. Continue with him from now on.

honestly I would strongly consider a markstrom buyout if there isn't improvement by season's end and vladar remains steady

Wolf has been so exceptional at the pro level that there's little doubt that he is part of the future in net, and vladar has consistently been as good as markstrom or better since he came here. he was every bit as good as marky last year I felt (jm just had that early string of shutouts that set him apart)

the goal is to win, not saddle ourselves to players who have lost what they once had in hopes of rebuilding their confidence one day

He also beat the defending champ Blues in the playoffs with an average at best Canucks team. And the Wild in a play in.

No need to kick the guy while he's down
