As a guy who loves California and vacations there whenever he can. No, Edmonton is not in California.

I can't see him being greedy enough to go back to Siberia's ugly sister for a few extra bucks, especially when he's making boatloads of other endorsement money. Also with all his media charm, I can't see him not wanting to go to a southern team where he can just do his thing, instead of having the responsibility of saying "let's go" all the time.
