That's backwards. It would be a very good record if the OTLs were ties instead of losses.

When most of the flames shots come from 40 feet out there is not a great need to take penalties if you are the blues. St. Louis outchanced the Flames that period, which is usually the best indicator of how the penalties will go.

Why does Sutter hate Pelletier?

Is Corey Syvret any relation to former Oiler player Dany Syvret? If so that might explain the lack of calls on the Blues.

Scoring chances were 12-8 Flames. High danger chances were 4-3 Flames.

Because he’s not a giant or a good Alberta boy.

Must not have counted Saad’s breakaway as a chance I guess. Can’t remember a scoring chance outside of Ruzicka and Hanifin, but there must have been a few others I guess.

Honestly you can keep Lucic in the lineup while inserting someone with more speed and offensive upside. That line is sorely lacking someone to skate with them.

Sutter is doing the team a massive disservice.

Yes the breakaway was counted as a high danger chance.

oooops. Correction. I was looking at 5 on 5. Sorry. In all situations according to Natural Stat Trick the scoring chances were 13-12 Blues, High danger chances were 5-4 Blues. Pretty even period.

On what planet is .631 hockey bad?

In the standings they are ties...1 of 2 points

Are the Flames not allowed to get PPs? This is getting ridiculous.

If only that happened....you would have a point.

What play was a penalty?

It's been a penalty free game from what I've seen. Even the call on Andersson was 50/50.

I agree, but the way he saved it (stick down, pads closed in time behind it) made it not even close to going in. He could not have saved it "better". Good sign.

Hit in the numbers on Lucic when he didn't even touch the puck.
