I thought Duehr was OK at least for the first batch of shifts...lost a bit of his edge after that, but didn't look "bad" at any point to me. Just under 13 min of ice time. That's more than Phillips.

Good luck with that. Gotta be closer to .600 and I just don't see this team getting there. Blech.
Our $6M goalie will make sure we are done in 4 games, should we make the playoffs.

Absolutely. The eye test matches though. Lindholm and line did absolutely nothing, yet again tonight. Past 2 games that line does absolutely nothing against ahl defences.

Ton of credit to backlund and line. I liked duehr a lot today also.

MY list starts and ends with Markstrom. There's a $750 000.00 goalie sitting on the bench that can do the job as good and likely better.

That's a lot of cap space we can use for scoring depth.

The second and third goals for the Blues came off nothing shots. The first gave up a juicy rebound and the second one just went straight in.

The Flames outplayed St. Louis, hit two posts and limited them to barely any good scoring chances.

Markstrom lost this game all in his own.

It's not a bad team, it's a good team that is severely underperforming/achieving.
Cue the “playoffs!!!??” meme.

I’m pretty sure at this point I could do better than the Flames in OT.

By that I mean just me. Maybe even without skates.

I say almost cause its hard to believe its actually true. Just some super odd coaching decisions from the start of training camp.

Isn't it funny how we keep loosing to these half AHL teams with our stacked veteran presence but refuse to play our good AHLers. Do the Flames players feel any pressure that they might lose their job?

They need to figure out their 3v3 lines though for sure, no real chemistry 3v3 all year.

Markstrom has an .869 save percentage when Flames lead by one this year, .874 with any type of Flames lead, just abysmal.
There is too much talent on this team to be playing like this. They are being stifled with this Sutter system.

lol. Yeah, Flames need to actually win games against teams they are the favourites for first, before possibly taking on teams where they are the underdog.

Well see how the month goes. Could define if the Flames are gonna stay in the playoff race, or start falling off from it. If Flames do miss the playoffs this season, wouldn't be the worse thing. Definitely can lead to more necessary changes with the roster - and front office.

Lots of season left. A lot of players with a lot left to give. Playoffs aren't out of the question at all.

OT is not working!!

Shake it up. Try something different! Anything!

How about rotating Dube, Mangi, Lindy, up front?
