I have no clue about xGA/GA but I agree entirely that save percentages get skewed by quality of chances versus raw shot amounts. And not just quality chances - quality chances given to quality players.

Markstrom was rightly pulled and his effort on the 2 on 1 was not good. In fact, it almost looked like he was so unhappy with the 2 on 1 and the defence against it that he decided not to bust his own back getting over on what was a sure goal anyway. Not a good thing but in a way almost understandable after being hung out to dry a lot this year.

Not just PGTs. Also GTs.

I would wager it is pretty hard to come into a pgt after the games over and people are pissed off while a handful are "as usual" egging them on. As mentioned above it seems to be a handful of people coming in to post negative stuff after a loss. Not sure how you are defending that?

I am not defending it. I said there are certain groups who come into it being negative and another group of "police" who don't even post about the game but post after losses calling out people who haven't said a peep. It starts pissing matches.

You can have good debate and be upset or happy you know talking about the game instead of personal attacks calling people idiots not fans delete your account blah balh.

Look at the way Bingo responds. That's respectful conversation.

Agreed, he (Bingo) and the moderators do an excellent job.

It was a rough game for him, I thought

His first goal, he lost his footing and ended up on his back doing a snow angel

Second goal, I didn’t like - that’s about as juicy as rebounds get.

(I remember Kipper had awesome rebound placement. He basically caught everything he could, tried to direct everything else to the corner. Man, were we ever fortunate to see that guy, game in, game out for years)

And the body language on the third - he had to be pulled.

Edit to add: if you look at where the third goal actually went in, it was inside the post behind Markstrom. A bit better read and a bit of effort to push across - he may have gotten a piece and it would have looked like a brilliant save, because that shot was not terribly well placed.

Taking into account the team in front of him, Kiprusoff was one of the best goalies on the planet for many years.
