Sorry but that was pathetic. Teams are feasting on Chicago. Blackhawks haven’t scored more than 2 goals in 11 games. Even when they scored 3 goals , 12 games back, they gave up 7.
This is what I don’t like about Sutter hockey. It lets bad teams like hawks and ducks have a chance. Not every game plan should be grind it out and win the Shot count battle.

Even though markstrom has been better lately I just don't trust him. He's twitchy, over reacts, ducks pucks, over plays the first shot, flops early and he reminds me of the liability version of Luongo. His puck handling is atrocious.

Overtime record and strategy could cost them a playoff spot. They miss Kylington a lot in those situations.

Ideally you don’t start that trio, but I think the idea is to shut down the other teams top guys and run your offensive guys second shift. Unfortunately Domi scores 1 on 2 and I’m not too sure what Andersson or Huberdeau was doing there.

who knows. Everyone was losing their kyit last few years with Gaudreau and Tkachuk not performing in the playoffs. Maybe Hubey, Naz and Weegs bring it in the playoffs and not the regular season....

One thing though is if Markstrom plays like crap Sutter has to pull this time around.

4-7-2 when they put 40+ shots on. how many chances do they need? bear the eff down

just garbage in OT consistently this year. what sucks about it though is it's in large part due to effort/determination

passing up freebie games like this and Columbus due to having no preparation to play is pathetic from a group so rife with veterans, and veterans who have won

good luck beating the blues even once with efforts like that

Regardless of how one feels about Markstrom, I just don't see any reason the Flames cannot succeed with Vladar and Wolf. It's just not a good allotment of cap space given how strongly the other two are performing.
