That's not really meaningful. Revenue versus expenses and all that boring stuff.
Lots of companies make billions in revenue and still bleed money.

Rona westhills is now down to 50% off everything. Still lots of stuff to be found. They even have some summer stuff out now like playground slides etc. good big ticket item if are looking to build a play structure this summer.
I managed to get some router bits, a new 12” saw blade and a new set of planer knives for under a $100. Well worth a visit to find some gems.
I also picked up a bunch of 4” pipe to try and remedy some of my dust collection issues in my shop.

The Rona closing has been good for me. I got a Traeger Pro 575, a belt sander, a bunch of electrical stuff and stocked up on stain for me deck.

Seems to be working out for the dozens of other pubs and restaurants in the area that are flourishing.

Tuned into 107.3 tonight and they have 5 or so minute interludes of talking about Calgary and events that have shaped the city etc, in between music.
Looking around the web, it sounds as if QR77 may be moving to 107.3 or being simulcast...something around those lines in some regard, because spoken word FM stations require a different license with the CRTC.

Yeah, so I went down to the Auction place to see the Rose & Crown stuff, not a whole lot interesting although I may attend the auction to get some patio furniture...I like those tables with the fire pit in the middle.
Other than that, if you are in the market for a gigantic second-hand TV then that auction is the place for you!

I didn't even know there was Rona at Westhills, and I've been to that area dozens, hundreds of times over the last 10-15 years. I thought y'all were talking about the Lowes until I googled it.

It was a pretty crappy rona. It was so small with not much selection. It's like one of those you find in small towns like Fernie or Canmore.

Interesting...QR is already simulcast on a HD feed from Country 105...the only HD channel in the city.
You would think that Rogers would put 960 on an HD feed of one it it's FM stations.

As recently as this summer it seemed like 960 might be effectively shutting down altogether

Lol, last I looked 960 was the second-least-listened-to radio station in Calgary. They're not going to bother putting their worst-performing property on FM.

According to their facebook page, the owners of CB Drive Inn are retiring at the end of the month, and they are holding a farewell event for "Papa and Mama Lee" on January 29 from 12 to 5.
Fortunately I read their sons are going to keep the restaurant open so you'll still be able to get their crinkle cut fries...

Master Burger with fries on their picnic tables on a hot summer day... perfection. Very glad they're not closing.

Their shakes are very good too and they come in non-heat attack inducing sizes.

You either misspelled heart or you use the most interesting synonym for brain freeze that I’ve ever heard.
