the only thing rivaling Fleury's own detachment from reality is not putting Fleury the hockey player on a Flames Mt. Rushmore

Reason: added a wink before someone tries to quote me and explain the difference between these two things

2 of:
Kariya
Perry
Giguere
Niedermayer (371 gp +56 playoffs)
Pronger (220 gp + 38 POs)
- Giguere has a Conn Smythe...from their 2002 Finals loss (and was their starter in '07)
- Niedermayer won Conn Smythe
- Perry has a Hart Trophy
- Kariya was the first face of the franchise and arguably their best ever player

Fleury doesn't get enough votes because of off-ice issues.
Kiprusoff does very little (if anything) for the community while he is here and gets in..
I think both on-ice and community work should have been considered. Lanny and Iggy are both fine for that.

Kiprusoff on ice accomplishments far outweigh anything he could do in the community. Him Iginla and Sutter pretty much ignited this era for the Flames and popularity. Who knows the state of the franchise if we don't have that season we did.
Theo is the face of save our flames campaign.

First, and only Swede to score 50 in the NHL.

There's an ocean of difference between being a recluse and spouting dangerous conspiracy theories about vaccines, the WEF, Trudeau, and whatever else pops into that pea brain he's trotting around.

The "Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda, Didn't" Flames Mt. Rushmore
Woulda had Teemu Selanne if the Jets hadn't matched their offer sheet
Shoulda kept Marc Savard and fired Gilbert instead (which they did anyways)
Coulda kept Brett Hull but may not have a cup if they did
Didn't keep Martin St. Louis

St. Louis is the one I'd most want a do-over on. You'd think of all the franchises to give a small player a shot, the Flames would have been the one...
