Agree that Rasmus would have been best choice for the All Star game. Kadri would be about my 4th or 5th pick.

The Flames may have been outshot, but they generated far more dangerous chances - the Islanders were never a threat, other than the 2 breakaways. I thought it was a really solid effort.
I thought Kadri and Huberdeau were good. I also thought Coleman and Mangiapane were good. And Zohorna and Ruzicka were solid. Quiet night for Lindholm's line, but it isn't like they were bad.
The only thing there is to complain about is the PP, IMO.

Good thing is they acknowledge that it's a problem. When Kadri was asked about their PP last night, he said it sucked. Which is the one and only correct answer.

Dube and Toffoli were brutal on the shift leading up to the Islanders goal. Dube with a big turnover, then a lazy dump from Toffoli and it goes back where Zadorov lazily seats at Parise and it’s in. But otherwise, they were pretty unremarkable.

That line had one really good shift near the end of the second period, I believe. Other than that, they were invisible. Was it because the Isle's put their best defenders up against them or just a poor effort on their own part?

I thought Dube got the puck to Toffoli at the Islander blueline and then he turned it over.
