PP remains an issue that needs to be fixed though. They looked really dangerous and were moving the puck really well the first 5-10 games...need to get back to that.
Those 2 breakaways were game savers though. 3-2 would have looked a lot different and the Isles could have gained more mojo.

The teams been looking better and better over the past two weeks. Showing really good signs lately. They’ve been winning more often, the few losses haven’t been embarrassing and tonights win was comfortable
Really convinced they are rounding into form. It appears they just needed some time

Isles didn’t play that badly. Calgary was just really good. And they got some puck luck and good shooting for a change.

Flames did what they were supposed to. Can't get too high for a win you expect, but would've been a big downer to lose this one and they avoided that.

Goaltending at this point seems to be sound. Markstrom is doing his job in making saves and not costing the team weak goals anymore.

Now Flames just gotta get their Power Play figured out. If they can score goals even strength or shorthanded, surely they can figure out how to do it when when they have the man advantage. They play way to slow and content currently.

Marky was a real difference maker tonight.

Game could have been 3-3 after 2, but he made some big saves to keep us ahead.

Solid W.

Couldn't tell with how low Sportsnet does crowd audio in their broadcasts. Why do they have it like the crowd is on mute?
