Great start. We seemed to get contributions from every line. Any game where both Zadorov and Lucic score is a good game. A bit of a snooze fest in the 3rd, but I'm more than okay with closing out the game that way.
Power play needs work, because Markstrom had to make the more difficult saves while we were with the man advantage. I'd also like Lindholm to shoot more, but it seems as though our game is rounding into form.

Nice win! I'm sure the usual Edmonton people are going to be blaming it on Varlamov playing and Barzal not playing.
New York coming to town reminds me of the covid shutdown though. We were supposed to play them the day all of North America stopped.

I definitely think what we post on an internet message board affects what occurs elsewhere in the world.
Unfortunately it only works for hockey. Not just for hockey but only for the specific team we cheer for. More specifically only for causing the opposing team to score a goal. Even more specifically only for causing the opposing team to score when our goalie has a shutout.

Markstrom was good but Flames didn't give up a lot outside of the two PP breakaways.
0 HD chances against in the third, and very few good looks is a good sign. Really gave up nothing 5v5 in the last two periods, most dangerous chances against were when we were on the PP.
PP remains an issue that needs to be fixed though. They looked really dangerous and were moving the puck really well the first 5-10 games...need to get back to that.
