It's just not a good product right now. Even if you don't like the product, AEW was at its best when it was doing long-term, old school storytelling, and building up its young and homegrown guys (e.g. Darby, Jungle Boy, etc.). Now it seems to be all about booking dream matches for smarks and worked shoot after worked shoot. They've become as predictable and repetitive as they used to make fun of WWE for being.
Tony's obsession with Jay Lethal makes no sense, hes been booked more than anyone else the last 6 months

Plus the Jarrett stuff

It's like TK just wants to show what he could have done with TNA

I cant think of one homegrown star who is at a better point now than a year ago, that Tony has had a hand in

He botched the original time the acclaimed should have won the titles, and they got over cause of castor and bowens, not the booking they were given

MJF has been mostly work shoot stuff

Wardlow was more over than almost anyone and now hes stuck in TNA feuds and getting his ponytail cut off

Bryan Danielson was stuck in a never ending feud with JAS

Miro and Malakai black fully wasted

Orange Cassidy has been treading water since the osprey match

Dante martin was building to something and now...

FTR! How do you mess up FTR worse than vince did, TK has done it

The womens division is still a joke too

They get 1 match and maybe 2 segments a week

It's still not deep but deep enough now that there should be more feuds than whatever britt is involved with and whatever jade is involved with

Meltzer says Sasha/Mercedes is not Sarayas partner next week, britt still dropped the boss reference wednesday

If it ends up being just saraya and toni the crowd is going to turn on the match

I really hope the stuff about vince staying out of creative is true, at least for next few months when wwe is usually at it's best from the rumble, elimination chamber, then mania

It’s basically the plot of Succession.

They need to have a back up plan that would also come as a surprise. Even if it's a totally unexpected one-off like Nia Jax. Just anything to move the needle

These are the big ones to me.

Lethal gets way too much TV time...and then you add Jeff Jarrett to the mix for no reason when the guy has never drew a dime. Other tag teams sitting around doing nothing while you force an Acclaimed vs Lethal/Jarrett fued.

Wardlow looks like an idiot against Samoa Joe...only for Darby to go over him the next week making Wardlow look even worse.

The whole Blackpool Combat Club is a waste really and locks up guys like Moxley, Danielson, and Cesaro from having good matches against each other since they are in a faction, while also wasting time against the JAS.

Miro and Malakai had good runs going...Cody fued killed Malakai's heat, can't really remember what killed Miro (maybe Guevara).

Orange Cassidy is super over...and then they give him the belt and it's been kind of useless since.

Too many wrestlers, too many belts, and too much fan boy booking from Tony Kahn. Plus Tony Kahn seems more carney than Vince from what he posts online, and I'm not sure that was even possible.

I can put up with AEW, they're not the same momentum they had a couple years ago, but I still enjoy many of the matches themselves. One thing I hate thought is the number of belts - when basically everyone is a champion, it waters down the importance of belts themselves. They need to seriously get the ROH product out of AEW, it's dragging the main AEW product down.

Anyone who doesn't find the Dominik Mysterio/Rhea Ripley partnership a laugh-riot doesn't have a soul. I think he's doing a fantastic job! Rhea is the scene stealer, but gotta give Dom full credit for the role he's been given.

Imagine being so stubborn and toxic that at the age of 80 you cant let your daughter take over the company you groomed her to lead from when she was 22 years old.

The only thing that could top this news is if Vince comes back and completely turns WWE into a wrestling-focused, indy-style fed that immediately partners with AEW and NJPW, completely upending the establishment and ending his tenure on this earth as a redeemed fan of professional wrestling that ended things giving the fans exactly what they wanted.

He'll do it too, just to #### with us. He's VINCENT KENNEDY MCMAHON, DAMNIT

8 days ago things were looking pretty good with Steph and HHH in charge and I booked Wrestlemania tickets...that looks like a poor decision now.

Although there is going to be no shortage of money for Vince to throw at legends for the event and you know hes going to want to make a splash, so that could be fun.

Does this mean we get crossovers with LIV golf? Greg Norman in the role of Jack Tunney? Bryson vs. Brock?

Honestly hiring either one in a back stage / booking role would be a smart move but it seems Tony Kahn is just as stubborn as Vince.

Really Steph and HHH should just start their own promotion.
