What about Radko Gudas to play the right side on a pairing with Zadorov? Now there’s a duo that strike fear in our opponents…
Only 2.5 mil for this year, then UFA. He’s been rumored to be traded by the deadline.

If the team wants to try something to get Hubereau going I'm game for it. I mean right now there really isn't any reason not too. This hole is going to get deep if he becomes a 60 or 70 point guy here. Hanafin and Rooney for Bennett and Gudas.

Maybe we could see the second sign and trade in history involving the Flames? Could he not sign a deal say 8X8 and then traded to us similar to the Chucky trade?
Not that 8X8 is much easier but it makes it a little more manageable.

Some people would question a move like this on paper, because the team needs speed and skill.
But I find, overwhelmingly so, that the Flames tend to excel when they have a distinct team identity. Moreso in the playoffs.
That's why it's fun to imagine a Zadorov-Gudas pairing.
A guy like Domi would be fun to see with Kadri.
If Sutter could double Gudbranson's effectiveness, I wouldn't doubt if he could do the same with guys like Gudas.

Ok, this is probably reaching a little bit, but the thought crossed my mind that maybe Sutter is playing Lucic with Kadri and Huberdeau because they want to try and boost Lucic's stats and showcase him for a trade in order to get cap space without having to add a an excessive sweetener to the deal.
Get him going on a points streak, then maybe a team will take a chance on him? Maybe the Bruins will want to add him to the reunion tour?
One can dream, right?

The one theory I saw that makes the most sense is that Darryl has Lucic on Huberdeau’s line to force Huby to shoot more
