I can't believe he keeps running with Lucic.
Starting to become concerning.

I would try:
Ruzicka-Lindholm-Toffoli
Dube-Kadri-Huberdeau
Mangiapane-Backlund-Coleman
Lucic-Zohorna-Lewis

Not when the team is in a strong stretch of great metrics. That suggests its working and you don't change it.
Treliving's comments about Kadri and Huberdeau gaining chemistry today didn't mention Lucic.
Just a matter of time.

Lucic. Until that isn’t a thing it’s a jumbled mess.

I have no idea what metrics look like for that line, but the tangible production certainly isn't there if you snapshot the previous 5 games. Kadri and Huberdeau have looked okay (not great) at 5-5 from the eye test perspective, so maybe there's more there that I'm missing?
I am certainly starting to get annoyed that we aren't seeing someone else flank those two at EVS. Ruzicka would be a perfect fit in my mind as he's a similar big body, but obviously has much better finesse and skill. This would also leave the 1st and 3rd lines intact - something that you don't want to mess with now.

Numbers I saw last night seem to show they are the line getting cooked since Lucic arrived on it.
xGF% 47% HDCF 34%
Doesn't seem like great metrics too me.

I think Sutter is still sending the messages to Ruzicka that he previously sent to Dube (with some signs of success now).

Exactly this. The complaining that Sutter doesn't know how to handle prospects blows my mind.
Dube is now on the first line and looking dangerous most nights. Sutter is also heaping praise on him.

Dube definitely has been stepping up recently. The longer Lucic stays in the top 6 the worst it is for that line

Frankly Lucic is as good a fit to play with Kadri as anybody IMO.

Except no one is complaining that Sutter can't handle prospects....At least not in this thread anyway. Sutter has done a pretty bang up job brining younger guys like Dube, Andersson and now Ruzicka to a higher level.
Lucic has a role on this team, even on that line sporadically within this system, but it doesn't take much to notice that he's way out of his breadth at this point in his career to be routinely taking shifts with 2 of the teams best forwards night in and night out.

Not in this thread but I see it in others and all over the garbage dump of opinions that is twitter. I agree Lucic is long in the tooth on the second line but they won't put someone there until they prove they deserve to be there. Overall the team is playing well right now so I see the reason not to mix up all the lines. Still a lot of season left and I'm sure they don't expect Looch to stay there all year.
