You seriously want to see someone line up 32 innocent people and shoot them in the head?
Are you really from hell?

I guess the million people that checked out CNN to watch all their clips and read all the witness accounts, are from hell(fairytale place)?

I watched CNN, and I didn't want to see anyone get shot.
I was watching in horror as everything unfolded.

There is quite a story being told by a woman who witnessed the worst of it and actually "played dead" in the room where he killed a whole bunch of people. She's hard to miss (she is bald) so if you happen to see her on the wall to wall coverage have a listen. It's pretty awful. "Only 4 of us left the classroom, everyone else was unconcscious or dead". Yeesh. The "he lined them up and shot them execution style" rumors don't mesh with what she had to say.

I got the impression that the magnitude of what she witnessed has not even begun to sink in. She was talking about it like she had just gone to the store to get some milk, not seen 25 or so classmates brutally murdered.

I offer my condolences to all those who died this school year due to school shootings. Students and professors at Dawson College in Montreal, today's and any other deaths.
God Bless all of them.

This is just such a horrific and tragic event. If you type in the names of those people on Facebook on their VTech network, they all look so happy in their pictures. One of those victims even has a picture of her with her family. It's hard to imagine what those people's family members are going through right now. I find it incredibly eery looking through those pictures knowing what happened to them today. They got up today and went to school just like the rest of us. None of them knew it was to be their last because of some deranged ****ing psychopath.
I really hope the media doesn't start analyzing the life of the shooter and instead focuses on all the innocent lives cut short today, but sadly while the debate on guns, video games, etc. rages on, I doubt the lives and stories of those killed today will be publicized.
It's also incredibly eery watching that cell phone video one of the students took where you could hear the bullets from the inside being fired. When I first watched it there was one person already confirmed dead, but watching it again knowing that each shot fired probably killed an innocent person, it's very hard to watch.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.

Here's a story on Ryan Clark, one of the diseased today.

Again, seemed like a great guy (had a twin brother and a loving family).
I just don't get this b*ll that life throws our way.

Geez, I swear I live in a bubble sometimes. I don't usually watch TV but I happened to turn on the 11 oclock news tonight when I got home, and only heard about the shooting then. Absolutely terrible. Stuff like that just sends shivers up and down my spine, because it seems to be happening far too often these days.

Unfortunately that is exactly what is going to happen. The shooter is going to get exactly what he wanted, attention and "fame" for his actions today. I for one hope they don't even publish his name, and simply focus on the victims, but i really think that is a long shot.

If you do the reasearch on school shootings it really has nothing to do with fame. Alot of these shooters were bullied and ostricised by their peers. Acts like this are their way of getting back. It's more like revenge shootings.
I also posted a story on another thread that points out the media taking an interest in these type of victims.

For the most part yes, but this wasn't a high school shooting where most bullying takes place. This was a university, and from all my university experience, I have yet to see a single person get "bullied" or even constantly made fun of in a malicious manner in a university, especially considering VTech had over 25,000 students.
This just sounds like some nut who went crazy because he couldn't take his girlfriend, exams, etc. and thought the only way to make things right was shoot up a bunch of innocent people.

Bullying happens in the workplace so I don't see why it can't happen in a post secondary level. I was a victim of bullying when I attended college. It can happen.

I thinks there's more to it than the breakup. I wouldn't be surprised to hear he had emotional problems. Problem is he is dead and we may never get all the facts.
