So the NFL wants KC to win, Buff to loose.

And then Cincy beat Balt to take the AFC North and the rest really doesnt matter too much
Yeah, everything but 2/3 seed would be settled. I think
Except Bills won't lose to NE

Isn't it easier for the NFL if the Ravens beat the Bengals tonclaim the North and the 3 seed. Would make Cinci the clear #5 as they would still have a better Conference record than the Chargers.

So KC win, Buaffalo loss and Baltimore win would all have to happen to make the result of this game not impact the playoffs.

Otherwise I think the potential result would have impacted something in the top 3 seeds.

No I'm wrong...Ravens have 6 losses already. They needed the Bengals to lose twice to finish third. Probably best to call this game a draw.

I think replaying the game with the Bengals is the last thing on the Bills minds. How do they continue and play on Sunday.

Hopefully this is a good sign that his condition is improving and that with time he'll be breathing on his own again.

This is going to sound weird.

I was kind of dreading checking the news this morning, and reading that he'd died over night. The fact that he's hanging in and reduced his oxygen is a hopeful sign.

Hopefully he pulls through and doesn't have any long term effects from what sounds like a 1 in a million fluke event.

You weren’t the only one. I took a few minutes before reading the news when I woke up this morning.

Another tweet with similar information from Damar’s uncle:

Sounds like lung damage isn’t uncommon after administering CPR, so hopefully nothing unusual or serious.

That's encouraging news.

It really didn't look like it was going to end well last night.

That’s the Unions problem. Not to sound harsh but they can hold the line during negotiating if they wanted to protect young players .

They are more concerned with Aaron Rogers getting his $, and a alleged sexual predator getting a quarter billion guaranteed

The following NFL schedule could happen:

Week 19 Bengals/Bills, NFC wild card playoffs, and AFC playoff bye week

Week 20 AFC wild card playoffs and NFC playoff bye week

I don't think tv would like that. They want the 6 game playoff madness, that's why they added a team in each conference.

Buffalo and cincy giving the rest of the AFC a bye week seems risky . I guess Buffalo having a chance at the 1 seed “may” be worth the risk . If I’m cincy I just forfeit then as I don’t want the Ravens (most likely ) having a bye week while i play

The Bengals still could have a shot at the 2 seed, which means you play the 7 seed in round one and Division round home game. They still might have a shot at the one seed too. So I doubt they want to forfeit.

If they played that game on a Thursday night than these teams play the following Sunday they at least would get an extended break before having to play a playoff game.

If anything a two week bye for the top NFC team might result in them getting a bit stagnant for their first game.

Depends on what they had in the works for that dead week between the Conference Championship and Superbowl. ABC/ESPN doesn't have the Conference Championship games and the NHL Allatar game is on Saturday the 4th not that they care. Daytona 500 and NBA Allstar game is the 19th. So I'm sure CBS and Fox will boot whatever skiing or figure skating to make way.
