Most guests take a nibble of that wing, but some go all in and bite all the meat off. Maybe if you can swallow most of it before it lingers in your mouth that would better?

You would think...but it makes almost no difference. It's just a bad experience for everyone.

Literally every sauce these guys make is amazing.

Canadian dude who does basically the whole thing himself. Read the ingredients. The Serrano one is my favourite for the flavor but it's not particularly spicy.

I saw a Facebook or Instagram ad for a hot sauce company in PEI. They’ve got a wide selection of flavours, and I haven’t really been disappointed with any I’ve tried. But my favourite has to be the Mustard Pickle hot sauce. It’s spicy, but not too bad. Just such a powerful flavour. The candied ones are also really good.

Da Bomb isn't the hottest sauce. It just tastes like ass and ruins everything.

I've tried it. It's very very good (not super spicy). I'd say my favourite hot sauce at the moment. I got it a few weeks ago and the bottle is half done.

I got the three pack last year for Christmas. Highly overrated. It was decent, but a little truffle oil goes a long way. Not worth whatever my family paid for it. The white cap is the best IMO
Speaking of Hot Ones, this year I was given the Fly By Jing (same company) Szechuan Chili Crisp (diff product) and I've been loving it. I've been using it to reheat everything in my cast iron pan - leftover turkey, leftover Ginger Chicken, veggies (of course) and even a slice of pepperoni pizza.
https://flybyjing.com/shop/sichuan-chili-crisp/
easily a top-5 Christmas gift I've ever gotten.

Yeah.
My buddies and I have ridiculously high heat tolerance. One chip challenge, one gummy challenge, eat a raw pepper type stupid ####. And we can do it with out flinching for the most part.
Da Bomb is just awful. It tastes bad and it hurts in away that most other hot sauces just don't all while having no discernible flavour. Battery acid is apt.

I'm guessing these are the Maritime Madness hot sauces? I received a few for Christmas, and so far I've been pretty impressed (although I have not found nearly enough opportunities to use them yet). I find the hotter sauces like Moonshine Habanero and Ultimate Give'r to be perfect complimentary sauces - a drop or two in a bowl of chili gives the perfect amount of heat for me, letting me keep the chili milder so that the kids will actually eat it! The one sauce I received with less heat, the Newfoundland Screech, has a really nice flavour without being too hot. The hotter sauces will last me for a long time, but I think I'll go through the lower heat ones pretty quick so I'll have to pick up Mustard Pickle and others to try!

Yeah, maritime madness. Tropical habenero is great, as is the cilantro lime.

I stand by my assessment.

5) Sichuan Gold is more like a chili oil, but damn is it tasty. If you like Sichuan peppercorns, this is a staple sauce to have in your home. It is a bit spicy, but very flavorful and palatable.
|
Seriously, it's become a staple sauce in our house in just a couple weeks.

The base images of the sauces look like crisp, but honestly speaking, flavor wise, I don't think crisp is horribly different flavor wise than black bean and peanut. I've used all 3 in dumpling sauce before.
But Lao Gan Ma is not Sichuan. To bridge that gap, I wonder if combining it with LKK Peppercorn chili oil would do the trick... but this oil tastes like Sichuan peppercorns, it doesn't tingle like it.
I think this is because there are two major categories of Sichuan peppercorns. The LKK one is a reddish/grey hue when dried. There's a variant that's green when dried. That one tingles a lot more and I found some of that type of peppercorn oil in Walmart of all places.
https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/ymz-pep.../6000198684561
This one tingles a lot more than the LKK one and is delicious. But canola/rapeseed based oils I can't consume much without it being cooked. Otherwise, I get bloated and weird.

Recently got a farmers' market sauce from a family member. Mango Habenero from RG Ferments. Very, very delicious.

Just picked up a bottle of this from Save On since I remembered it from the Hot Ones lineup
Super tasty sauce, like a hotter fruity Sriracha. Very high initial heat, but it dissipates fairly quickly so it doesn't wreck you. I'm not sure how Hot Ones calculates the scoville rating, but they either rate this one too low (120k) or the Last Dab too high (1m) because I found them very similar heat-wise
