The NHL's two newest teams will face off in the 2024 Winter Classic in Seattle.

Interesting that Vegas get another outdoor game, and Kraken get one in just their third season.

Playing at the Seahawks stadium? Link seems to be broken

Nope, playing at the Mariner's stadium (T-Mobile). Seahawks likely to still be using Lumen Field around that time.

Yeah, sorry, it's the ballpark. Tried embedding the tweet but I couldn't figure it out.

there's teams who haven't played a single outdoor game yet (Florida, Columbus, Arizona), but Vegas already gets their second? Come on. I get that they want to have their newest clubs out there, but still doesn't feel right to me.

Should it be a fairness thing or is the goal really to get the most people to watch the game?

Just use the tweet's number between the tags(in this case 1609982466101547008) instead of the whole link.

Ah, okay. Is it a retractable roof, or this is just certain to be an indoor game in a large stadium?

Montreal has somehow never hosted one of these games. I'd love to see one in the Big O at some point.

And it's more of a cover than a roof, if that makes sense. It's still outdoors with the roof overhead.

First time I've been in close enough proximity to a Winter Classic to actually go. I'll be trying for tickets to this one.

I have an irrational affection for the BigO but despite the small and unworkable I'm sure logistics, my heart goes Molson stadium all day long
spent many a happy day in both places

NHL is gate driven, not a chance they play at Percival Stadium over the Big O. I'm really surprised they have't done a game at the Big O, despite the condition, as it's just one game. And they can get 60000 people in there, which Has fans would sell out the second they went on sale.
I mean they played at BC place in Vancouver which has a tiny hole at the top that they use to call it "open".

The Big O technically has a retractable roof too....it'll just never close again if they open it, and the tower might collapse - but otherwise it could be cool.

Did an article over at Daily Faceoff today about three outdoor game matchups I'd love to see. Toronto/Montreal is one of them.
