Yes, all true. I have cheered him all those years. But he chose to leave, he is on another team, he is the enemy now. So I'll definitely boo him. Boooooooooooooooooooo ))))))

I gave my seats away for that game.

I believe he could have done even greater things as a Flame and the team absolutely is worse off without him.

But he’s gone so I don’t care to watch him as a visitor.

Gaudreau brought us fans out our seats for 9 years with his electrifying plays and has never said a bad thing about our city or us fans, for whatever reasons he decided to return to his home country is not for me to judge.

Zero chance I could boo him.

Liked him as a player

Didn't like the way he left the team. Indecisive, almost childish inability to make a decision. Reflects poorly on his character.

I'll boo him

This. Would be really funny if there was organized silence from the fans, without even a peep. That would be a slap in the face greater than the loudest chorus of boos.

I would cheer him if he:

loses the puck at the blueline
whines to the ref about a penalty not being called
lets a puck slide into the corner and turns back to the bench because a Joe Thornton-type is coming up behind him

He really does not deserve a tribute video. IMO, that's a bad look on the organization if they do one.

I'd maybe boo if there but most likely just ignore him completely. He's just some good on a terrible team now.

They should do a tribute video with all his mistakes and turnovers!

Boo the mother!

I'd definitely cheer for him.

He had every right to sign with whichever team. As for the idea of negotiating in bad faith, I'm not too butt hurt about that either as I wasn't sitting at the negotiation table.

As long as the Flames win, I'm happy.

I never cheer a player on another team - unless maybe they’ve had a stellar career and really did something for the sport and the community and this is the last time I’ll see them. For instance, if Ovi were in town for the last time or if he had just eclipsed the goal scoring record.

I’d be respectful for Johnny’s tribute, but I wouldn’t be going nuts - he’s no Iginla.

As for the rest of the game, nothing. My only hope for the game is that all the electric performances that lit up almost every game I saw in person are non-existent on the 23rd.

I doubt that would happen. If it did, it would really make the Flames look bush league and petty.
