I think the Oilers are lucky this thing is tied. It's 3 - 1 Flames in terms of expected goals. Our best players came out to play tonight. Hopefully we'll be able to put it away in the 3rd, because this effort means nothing if we end up losing.

Good period, but it really highlights a huge problem we've been fighting all season. We never seem to be able to cash in a few goals when we're absolutely running the other team's show.
I expect the Oilers to come out in the third and push because we've let them hang around despite outplaying them by a wide margin.
