Even in my University days I didn't go out much on Monday nights. However, that being said KilKenny's in the NW has their wing night on Monday's and the place is usually full of University students and young professional types.

Good choice, but get there early its quite busy/full (I'm assuming that they still have it, its been a couple of years since I was there).

Be carefull man. When your heart is broken and you mix alchohol, things can get ugly. Everyone is differant. But I envision some one who has had one to many, annoying complete strangers telling them about what a blank, blank, blank your ex is. Or you could have the time of your life. Just keep that in mind.

Ceilis Irish Pub is the place to be on Monday nights from what I remember. It's more of a nightclub atmoshphere on Mondays and they may even have the rooftop patio open which always makes that place better. Call ahead because I know there are two downtown locations, you want to go to the one by cowboys if it's still open as it's going to be torn down for an office building this year or next.

Ceili's with the rooftop is now closed. The one just up the street (couple blocks west) is open, however.

The strippers is always one of those places that I think most men have used at one point in their lives as a post relationship haven. There aren't many 'happening' places on mondays, at least that I can think of the top of my head...but what better place to go to get your mind onto to other things. Of course, this can also have the reverse effect, depending on where you're at emotionally, so proceed to your nearest strip joint with caution.
Anyhoo, hope things get better.

Nope, its on Sundays. The Kilkenny is still a popular spot on mondays, i was just there last week. 7 dollar schooners and 17 cent wings. Pretty good deal.

The Ceili's downtown by Cowboys had "industry nights" on Mondays during the summer. Don't know if they still do, but it is likely.
There is usually one bar that is hopping on a Monday as all the Industry peeps party it up on there night off - so if you like random waitresses with a night off - then hit'em up!
