Default My weekend project

So what do you think?
I'll be painting it in the next few days. Either red or blue.

alternate planks between red and blue.... best of both worlds!

Seriously though, I'd go with red. Don't know why. Just red.

Red with the Flames logo would be cool!

Hey, pretty good!

What kind of wood did you use? Pine?

Those chairs are really popular in cedar.

I'm not really even a hockey fan (guess I'm getting banned now) so I'll pass on that one.

I'd do red.

A blue outdoor chair just seems silly.

Atleast red is a rustic colour.

I used knotty pine. Some day when I have better tools I'll likely go with cedar.

Nice work.

I like the look of it the way it is. Maybe varnish it?

Good job, Shane!

I'd be painting it a light brown if it were me.

I would just put a stain on it. Stain doesn't require as much upkeep as paint. Paint also makes wood furniture look cheaper IMO.

A stain on there would look quite nice, I do agree.

I don't know... I always think of Adirondack chairs as white.

Looks great! I think I'd just do a light stain - a reddish stain would look nice, as well as brown.

Ask Fotze to stop by- he'll be happy to put a stain on it for you!

Seriously, I would use a stain rather than paint. A good stain still looks good after its started to fade a bit.
