Zadorov also explicitly called out how much he's learned under Sutter's coaching and that he is one reason why he's wanted to come back to the Flames. So, for those who believe Sutter forgot how to coach in the span of 6 months, it would seem (at least to Zadorov) that Sutter knows a thing or two about coaching, if there's ever a concern...
Sutter just lost all of his scoring firepower this offseason.
A guy no one is talking about is Hanafin; he has to be one of the most underrated defenseman in the league and within our own fanbase. Quietly performs against other teams top lines, QB’s our 2nd PP, takes the fight last night with Comtois despite not being a fighter and holds his own, and is just all around a great D.
Probably because people talk about Hanifin instead.
But yes, I agree. Hanifin does a lot very well quietly.

If you are a defenseman playing for Sutter is a no brainer to get a pay raise. See: Gudbranson, Erik.
It also might be more enjoyable to play for a team where the forwards are forced to help you out, vs. a team like Edmonton where they just abandon you to fend for yourself.

Hard to believe he's still only 25 . Trending upward for a while now and not even in his prime. What a gem.
