They do in the overall conference standings tab, just not the division.

Sutter said the goal was to be in the playoffs by Christmas, what, over a week ago? Of course, to the usual suspects here’s guffaws….but…

From NHL.com: Calgary has won its past five games at Anaheim, and nine of 11 after losing 29 straight at Honda Center.

Beautiful.

To have a 7 game and a 5 game losing streaks and still be in playoffs by Christmas is impressive haha. Hopefully they have a strong start to 23 and start climbing the standings

You know.... as bad as things seem.. the Flames are only 3 points back from where they were last year at this point (35 games in the Flames had 42 points). I think this Cali road trip could be the turning point for us.

I have always been so surprised Jared Bednar had him on a short leash in Colorado . His hit on Tkachuk in 2019 was the Aves turning point in that series. I guess its probably because he was Fairly young still. He definitely matured now took some hard lessons like Lucic cold clocking him lol

That's the scary part...they truly believe that the Oilers almost never get PP's and should be getting at least twice as many if not more every game. Some even think that McCryBaby draws 2-6 penalties per shift that the refs just ignore because there is an NHL-wide conspiracy against the Coilers...

For me its all ok… the teams that go far peak at the right time… I get the sense Daryl uses the entire regular season to try to peak going into the playoffs… last year they peaked too early… this year, lets hope they go into the final month or so on a heater and never look back.

This year Zadorov has become what I thought Weeger would be. Hopefully some time under Sutter will make that a reality.

I like Greg Millen - Kelly can stay in Toronto.

Will be interesting to see what the Flames can do after the break. The are slowly getting better. But lack of finish, dumb penalties and inconsistency seem to be clinging on.

The last two are probably easier to fix than the first one. Kylington coming back at some point would be a big help. I still think they’ll be bringing in a rental trigger man at the deadline. If Mangiapane could ever get going it would be huge.

Lack of effort is definitely not a problem. It feels like they are rounding into something. They’ve had some pretty frustrating stretches and are still in a playoff spot. Good for them.

Millen has been good, he just talks too much. He doesn’t know when to end his story. But I think he’s got better hockey insight than Kelly.

Millen has really grown on me. Hrudey seems like a great guy but rarely offers much insight in the game. Millen a bit more of a pro.

Rasmus seems like the one guy on the Flames who wants the game on his stick, not afraid to make a mistake and might actually elevate his game as the game gets harder.

I used to hate Millen on commentary but I find I'm enjoying him more than Hrudey lately. Might just be the change, familiarity breeds contempt kind of thing, but he's been good. And the Huberdeau mispronounciations are killing me now. Legit entertainment.

Huberdeau, Markstrom and Dube have definitely worked through their early season struggles and it has been helping a lot lately. To be honest since his press box stint Lucic has also been way better. Finding Ruzicka was a big plus.

If Mangiapane and to a lesser extent Coleman could produce a bit more it would make a huge difference.

Still feels like the Flames need one more finisher.
