Sounds like conflicting reports so far.

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - Government officials say there are seven to eight other casualties in the shooting at Virginia Tech.
It's not clear immediately whether these are in addition to the one dead and one wounded reported earlier. The state university says in a news release that there are multiple victims. Officials say police have arrested a suspect.

It probably doesn't, but do you think this could stem from that kids plan in to bring a gun to school a couple of days ago? I've heard that school shootings often happen one after the another one, a copy cat type of scenario. Once one kid gets it in his mind the idea spreads to others. Probably a stretch though, I wouldn't think that someone in Virgina would hear about an almost school shooting here.

Latest report was that the gunman lined up students looking for his girlfriend, and then started killing execution style. What a terrible tragedy. I just can never fathom why people do these sort of things.

At least 22 people are dead after a gunman opened fire in a dormitory and classroom at a Virginia college Monday morning, the campus police chief said. Another 21 people were wounded in the shooting....

....The university reported there were shootings at opposite ends of its campus: one at West Ambler Johnston dormitory, a co-ed residence housing more than 800 students, at about 7:15 a.m. ET and another two hours later at an engineering building, Norris Hall.
The gunman killed one student inside the dormitory and the others in a classroom at Norris Hall, Flinchum said.

Yeah, it's 20+ confirmed fatalities and as many as 50 people total. Thats absolutely absurd, like how do you get weapons with that much ammo to go after that many people. Words can't do justice to what has occurred here. Absolutely horrible.
