Markstrom basically kept Flames in it the last few minutes, not a peep from the Markstrom haters waiting to pounce on the next goal he lets in.

They have really only come when he gets zero run support.

Sharks looks like crap all game and look like they are unbeatable on the PP.

Looks like they are a building a team to mirror the Oilers.

Thanks. I may still be going crazy, but not on account of this specific recollection.

Switch Lucic and Ruzicka.

Weegar needs to be better.

Solid end to the period by Markstrom.

IMO they’ve been asking him to make too many big saves. He actually makes a ton of tough saves, it’s just that there’s been even more ten bell chances. And the Flames have not been scoring in front of him so every one was a big one.

Look at Vladar’s start against AZ. 2 goals in 3 shots. But the Flames then scored 4 plus an ENG.

Yeah, I figured the Flames would score less but be really tight defensively this year. It has been both but I’m most confused by how bad the defensive breakdowns have been.

Marky took a trip to the blue line on Dec. 1, but ever since then he's honestly been very good.

Markstrom has a 2.88 GAA on the year

Give him 3+ goals and win most of the time

Two huge saves back to back on the PK and then at least 2 more afterwards from my count.

Even in that game, his actual goaltending was great. Same with the game where he muffed it behind the net.
