This is what a team getting it's clock cleaned actually looks like...not a team with 3 scoring chances and zero goals in a period.
Lucic has played well fyi

Just keep getting their clock cleaned. Did you guys notice that the shots are basically even?
Also, I saw Muller barking at the players after they scored. Toxic atmosphere.

Attacking each other is not a good approach on CP, so try to remember we are not Coiler fans.
This Calgary Flames team is mediocre and everything points to that: their record and all the statistics you care to mention.
They are playing a bottom tier team in their barn and they came in on a losing streak, so it’s not like anyone should have expected them to walk all over this Sharks team.
Just win, preferably in regulation and try to take some positives from this game and build some momentum.

This is a little more than that ... a ####-kicking.
Lucic has been Lucic. He's probably the worst regular forward in the league. I'm happy for him scoring but he just isn't an NHL guy anymore. This is probably his best game of the year but consider the opponent, which has looked AHL calibre in two periods.

Toffoli on pace to crush his career high in points by 14. Previous 58 and on pace for 72.

This is not the game for Flames fans to be complaining about Lucic. He has played terrific.

This expression originated during the 1900s. It is possibly related to the idea that a clock has a face, and cleaning someone's clock often implies punching someone in the face. The word clean also had a slang definition meaning to defeat or beat since the 1800s.
