That shouldn't even be a penalty, Karlsson himself laughed about it. Don't think he expects a penalty being called. He must be thinking, I lost an edge and you give me a PP? THANKS!

I thought they got their clock cleaned by the Sharks in that second period. 13–7 shots, expected goals heavily in SJ's favour. They're playing middling hockey against an awful team.

Dominating? We're playing one of the worst teams in the league, and after two periods, the shots are 17-16 and the score is 2-1. If that's dominating, the bar must be pretty low.

Yeah typically you don't want to give up a ton of shots to the fifth-worst team in the league. Not really a great trend.
The Flames looked solid in the first but they flubbed more odd-man rushes than I could count. The game tightened up a lot in the second and San Jose got the better of them.

They are not dominating. But they are winning.
IMO we should stop worrying about minutes played and start paying attention to who is actually engaged and making smart plays at both ends of the ice.

It's the NHL guy...you know this
Leafs, Wild, Stars, Knights, have all lost to this Sharks team
"Clocks cleaned" by the sharks is a ridiculous statement.
