If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

That graphic was just for European defensemen, if that's what you were referring to.

Feel like Huberdeau and Lindy should be opposite sides on the PP.

No, what was ridiculous was any comment about Markstrom’s save percentage when the third shot he faces was a power play cross ice pass that made it through the entire team to a wide open guy for a one timer.

Yours wasn’t the only one. A goal like that and the only complaints were about him. Not the team that let the one thing you try not to allow happen.

Huberdeau would have way more assists and we'd all be happy with him if people could finish off his cross seam passes instead of missing the net, the puck, hitting goalie in the crest.

I'm just referring to the fact that Karlsson has 700 points.
800 points for a D-man seems to be a near-lock for the Hall.

But guys like Suter and Gonchar have 800+ and aren't. Actually, I think Suter has the most points out of all non-Hall of Fame defensemen. Meanwhile, guys like Lowe are in the Hall.

I think Burns is the only D in the league with more points than Karlsson.

The reason for that is because the strategy is the 1995 strategy with shots from the point. That hasn't worked in forever.

Last year it was Johnny or someone carrying it in and trying for slot passes with movement. Now it's dump, chase, shoot from the point with only movement at the blueline. It's truly ridiculous in 2022. Like fireable

Yes. Huberdeau has made a lot of great passes that were squandered this year.

This is starting to feel like one of those games when they outperform the opposition but a “hot goalie” aka second stringer steals it.
