I am just about to jump on the ax Sutter train. This team can't score because whenever they get in the offensive zone they are just firing outside perimeter shots. Nobody is getting open in front. All these talented players didn't suddenly forget how to play hockey, it's the system they are being pushed to play which seems to be low danger shots on goal to make sure you get back in your own end. It isn't working at all and it isn't going to with this group.

Sutter isn't telling them not to get to the front of the net, or to shoot from way out.
They are playing with no confidence
