Does what they post matter? You tell them what you will pay based on research and they say yes or no. That’s how my new car purchases go, anyway.

The funniest joke I ever heard in my life was a foreskin joke. I don't necessarily know if it was the funniest just as a standalone joke. But the combination of setting, person who told it and timing was so epic. I'll set the stage.
It's Passover which is a quite somber Jewish Holiday. We are sitting at the dinner table with about 20 other relatives. As you eat the meal, there is a combination of prayers, reciting biblical readings etc.... (I do this for my mother, as I am not a practising Jew.)
Smack dab out of nowhere, in the middle of this whole thing, my Aunt Alice who is in her 80's at the time, chimes up in her smokers voice with the stereotypical North American Jewish accent.....
Her: "So... you all know why Jewish women like their men circumcised?"
Table: Silence, awkward stares.....
Her: She repeats it.
Somebody at the table: "Why Alice?"
Her: "Because Jewish women want 25% off of everything." And she starts cackling with this smokers cough.
It was one of the few times I actually started crying I was laughing so hard. As was the whole table. It was such a Mic drop moment.
I've heard the joke over the years quite a few times and chuckled. But the combination of inappropriate setting, 80 year old 4'11" grandmother and awkwardness was just absolutely perfect.

Well, look at me! On my way to being a VERY wealthy small business owner. That hole in the crotch of my sweatpants is developing nicely.

Grinding my gears is texters who can't seem to send a text in one cohesive message. Getting 5 text notifications in a row is super annoying. Especially when the last text is
*you're
Yeah guy, i can decipher what you meant.

Lol! I have a buddy who does exactly this. Its like the entire message is a barely coherent representation of his train of thought in real time.
I dont know why he does it but I suspect its specifically to annoy people.

I bet when he calls you and you don't answer he lets it get into the message part and then hangs up. A classic.

I'm one of these texters. Apparently there's lots of us out there. I can't explain why we do it, I'm sorry. (this would've been four texts)

my favourite is customers that don't read what they've written before hitting send. i totally get that the odd typo happens, but sometimes - wow!
from tuesday of this week...
my question was which version of a logo (new or old) am i putting on some product for him.
customer reply: Same on sis for this which I quest it would be the new version?
me: pardon?
customer: Old one please. sorry Chris

No matter how many times I remind my dad about that 'missed call' notification on the lock screen of our phones and how it notifies me that he called he still needs to leave a voicemail. "Hi topfiverecords, it's your dad. Call me back."

5?
Count your blessings you don't regularly get double digits from some people. People who learned to message via BBM are the worst offenders. It's basically a twitter feed status update monologue.
This isn't even counting family group chats that I can't "opt out" where I'm busy for a few hours only to return to triple digit messages to read. It's basically brain dump, massive photo dumps and roll call in some chats.

I know people where this would be 9 to 12 individual messages.

That is more or less me, could I be pointed in the direction of these stores that cater to these sizes? Because outside of RW & Co and Simon's, and I guess GAP, I'm pretty much swimming in everything. I keep hearing about Boathouse and Jack Jones being glorious for more casual clothes, but everything in there fits me like I'm an 8th grader trying on my dad's clothes.
Admittedly it's been easier for me the past 10-12 years during the slim fit era, but I can tell its fading out. Need more stores for us short kings (and XL kings). Not everybody is 5'10"-6'0" and between 180-200lbs!

When I go to the states I go to Express Men and buy their slim fit stuff and then order online once a year and usually have fairly good success if I stick to similar cuts.

Try Brooks Brothers as well.
I have the same problem. GAP stuff is way too large for me. I have to go to BR.

seen a lot more men's shirts that are super extra long, borderline crop tops or have that dip along the bottom (which, i've been told, is for those with protruding bellies?) and it's those ones that seem to come in the nicest material, which is annoying
I've gotten to the point where if I like a specific shirt I go back to the store and order 3-5 more in different colors. at least then I know the fit is spot on with each. just don't trust enough designer brands to flip a coin with several new shirts because it's just hit or miss with each new one with the fit
also noticed pants sizes are running smaller now than they were pre-pandemic. ordering a size bigger .. but, and it's entirely possible, maybe I just got bigger without realizing it
finding well fitting corduroy or kahki pants is such a chore these days .. need more between jeans and dress pants

I had this problem during the pandemic as well. Plus the leather belt I bought in Argentina 10 years ago suddenly has shrunk a size and now I need to go to the next larger hole.
