Interview with Martin he said we just funnel a lot of shots at net. Basically meaning it was a lot of nothing coming his way.

Flames top scorer is 90th in the league. That's just....wow.
I mean who are we kidding with this roster? Screams of late career Iginla.

This is a pretty crappy situation for the team to be in. The Flames are not a contender and they won't get a top pick either. Instead of watching young players develop, fans get to watch old farts finish their careers.
Continuously stuck in mediocrity.

Well this is not going to be a fun PGT thread. Only going to say is the flames are painful to watch and if Sutters idea of north south play is shoot the puck in and try to retrieve and give up off man rushes cause we can’t well she’s going to be a longggg year

Not great options either, lol.
Dube was 1/1 before this attempt though.
Backlund: 1/11

looked like scared sheep all OT
disorganized and lost with the puck .. if a guy goes for it he has no support
no bite in this group .. looks like it left with those two players

Hmm, positives? Dube played well, top pair, too. Marky let in a few early but no stinkers and came up big to get the team a point.

this team is boring. Better structure than the geoff ward era but outside of that not much going for them. The top line probably scores less 5v5 than the worst team's top line. Dillon Dube is the new Matthew Lombardi, he's fast but playing way too high up the lineup. The Andersson-Hanifin pair is no less a liability than the Mackey-Stone pair. And the team takes too many early shots on zone entries, because their transition game is some kind of bad.

I remember when they were 5 - 1 to start and I was all excited about the monster season we were all about to enjoy.
What an absolute fool I was! This team is old, unskilled and boring.

Like most teams, the Canucks played their better forwards more than the Flames do. Is it really that hard for Sutter to ride his best players to win some games.

Which crap team has smoked us? Which crap team has climbed over us?
Losing in shootouts is not getting smoked.
In the last month, the Flames have had two gross stinkers. One to Columbus where they only lost by two(with an EN) and in Washington where they were terrible.
So again, I ask, which crap teams are "smoking us" and "climbing over us" or you just gonna make things up?

not sure what this team expected giving a 32 year old a 7 year contract this off-season?

Come on this ain’t on hubby. What about the other 11 forwards that can’t make a stick pass, no speed and couldn’t hit an empty net. Team game. Our forwards are painful to watch

Honestly felt like they were almost trying to dump and chase in OT. No patience at all.

This team is playing slow. Not sure if it is lack of chemistry so far or just a lack of execution.
Defensive zone breakouts are sloppy and ineffective at creating speed through the neutral zone. We seem to give it back to the other team a lot of the time and they use their speed/transition game to push right back.
Kinda surprised given this is a Sutter led team. Bottom line is this team isn't getting the results and is pretty boring to watch.

Wonder what percentage of goals against this season are when he’s standing up. Less than 10%, he’s usually on his knees.
