What, the Ritchie hit? Dude absolutely hit him straight in the head, and it should be looked at.

You either care about head shots or you don't. There's no middle ground or home team bias on this issue.

The only problem is those first couple of minutes count and it's absolutely something that this team needs to clean up.

I think they work hard, but they need better pump up music in the dressing room before the game. Can anyone find Dion's old playlist? Maybe that would help.

You and I must have different definitions of “work hard”.

What a rollercoaster of a period. I 've really been liking Ruzicka and Coleman together on a line, they're both warriors who lay it on the line in the offensive zone.
I think the Flames have potential to get 2-3 lines rolling and then they'd be a handful for any team. On the TNT broadcast they talked about Zadorov saying it took 30-40 games for him to adapt to Sutter's system...I really hope that's the case for the new lineup.

Yeah. I’m surprised it wasn’t a game misconduct

Effort is there. They just lack execution and precision. Again, the first couple minutes are an aberration. Most games they put good effort in, but they lack skill, creativity, and precision.

The difference between good and bad teams is razor thin in this league.

I don’t disagree, but I can guarantee you if that is an Oiler or a Leaf throwing that exact same hit the panel would not even bring it up.

Holy ####. this interview with Sutter on TNT is fantastic.
Anson Carter:" Darryl, what's harder: Raising cattle or convincing modern NHL players that checking leads to offense."

Darryl: "They're both even. Pretty much the same thing"

I thought the interview was stupid. Let’s get Darryl Sutter on and ask him a bunch of farming and ranching questions because we’re so funny. Doofuses.
Then later Bissonette talks about Sutter making “altercations” to his system.

Yes the odds that it's happening is low but humans and greed go hand in hand and when there's big money involved people get stupid and dirty people exist in nearly every profession at one point.

I've never felt there was anything more than incompetence til this season.

Agree to disagree
