I just found it amusing that she lives in a suburb of Edmonton a half-hour out of town (which was her own decision) and yet paints the entire Province with a great broad brush and yet all she knows of Ontario is her little corner of Toronto.

If you are, in fact, the most basic of bitches, Mississauga definitely sounds like the place for you. You go get that Cactus Club nightlife.

So the story was basically “I was willing to spend $1000 more per month to have someone to go to Cactus Club with and this lesson was well worth $12000 for me to learn”?

Tough loss for Alberta, she sounds like a real value-add to any social circle.

She should be sure to put that kid of fiscal responsibility on her resume.

I know a lot of a Torontonians, and I’m not gonna lie, they’re all exactly like the woman in the article. They think TO is some combo of Paris, Tokyo, Milan and NYC but actually live way out in the suburbs, spend exactly zero time in downtown Toronto and think any place not the GTA is like time travelling back to the old west and frontier times. They wouldn’t know, because they’ve never been anywhere else in Canada, but that’s what they think the rest of Canada is like.

That can’t be an authentic story. I can’t believe there was a human involved at any stage of that article being conceived to published.

Laurentian Elites? Congregating at the Cactus Club sub-basement and ruling the National sub-standard, over-priced pub fare with soulless brutality?

We've been worried about the wrong secret shadowy Cabal all along!

Wait until Cactus Club and Joeys start petitioning for their own Sovereignty!

Downtown Toronto is incredible for nightlife. Right down Queen all the way up Roncesvalles and back down Dundas West. I don't know why she left anyway. Leduc with the outlet mall? Beaumont has Chartier?

Being a training manager for Little Caesars is a corporate job now?

I would think you would have to be on the floor at locations training the managers?

That's wild; Trudeau effectively polling the same as the Premier of Alberta, in Alberta.

Can the Premier let go of her 'pet project ' to get elected?

I'm not from the GTA - but this story is basically catnip for clicks for people in Alberta to rage read. Canadians have the same 'little brother' rage towards the US as Albertans have to Toronto.

I think the story is almost too perfect to be real. The target audience of Kenney's ad buys into it, finds Alberta is pants compared to the awesome global city of Toronto, dominance confirmed. Torontonians get to feel great and laugh at podunk 'berta, and Alberta's point out all the ways she is dumb. It just fits too well to not be made up(or have significant portions edited to appear as it does).

This is what I don't get, she just does not read the room at all and just goes on about her own crap.

Nobody was talking about vaccines anymore and then she starts yelling about it, and how people without it are treated poorly.

The whole wexit crap basically died off to a few outliers and yet again she starts yelling about it like it is what everyone wants.

Such a waste of time. Straw ban on sales comes into effect next year. I have rarely seen plastic straws at all nowadays on juice boxes or fast food restaurants over the past year. I cant think of a single microbrewery that hasn't already moved to boxes, paper ring carriers, or the reusable clip in ones. Macros will probably wait until the last second.

Move on Smith, everyone else has.
