Taking a while to get to 5000
|
Sample size is large enough. This isn't a good team. Not this year. Might take the rest of the year to figure it out and come back next season for the better but this isn't their year. Small silver lining is the Pacific isn't great but this team in the playoffs? I don't know.

It's time for Sutter to take some heat. Huberdeau with 16:35 of ice time. His refusal to let his talented players play is beyond stupid, is causing losses and is boring as hell.
Markstrom finally comes around and Sutter way overplays the 4th line and loses 2-1 in a shootout.
Really feeling like the late Sutter years right now.

When you go on a road trip of 3 games, one against the 20th best team in the league, another versus the 3rd worst team in the league, maybe the flames should be satisfied to get 2 of a possible 6 points.
Almost 30 games in. This is what they are. A garbage team.

Absolutely criminal Markstrom didn’t get the win. Extremely frustrating to not be grabbing the extra point.
Start playing some disciplinary hockey or were ****ed.

God dammit. Markstrom's best game of the season by far and one of his best OT performances in a while.
Wasn't even upset when the Flames got called for a penalty in OT. It was fate. Hilarious.
Frustrating loss, but at least Markstrom put in a great performance. If he plays like that going forward, the team will be in better shape.

Team lacks skill and speed. No game breakers on this team under Sutters system. Losing to a bottom feeder like MTL 5 games in a row is unacceptable.
Positive is that was easily Markstroms best game this year

Markstrom was fantastic. Unfortunately the Habs seem to be a terrible matchup for the Flames. Not going to win many games scoring a single goal but that's been the story a lot of the season.
